| Description | Provide One (1 ea.) Crane, crane operator, 4 ea. Load distribution Plates for crane outriggers, crane transportation, and Load plans, to perform the lifts indicated on attached document, activity 9 and activity 10. Crane Model Terex Explorer 5600 or equivalent is a possible solution for this lift operation. a) Crane shall be required for a one week period, starting not earlier than March 7, 2019. Rental period may move later based upon real-time operational considerations. Government will provide at least one week notice prior to the actual need date at the Kennedy Space Center. b) Contractor is responsible for delivery of the crane to the Kennedy Space Center, RPSF KSC Surge 1 facility. Vendor shall submit a delivery schedule by email before delivery, and ensure the common carrier calls 48 hours in advance to schedule physical delivery. c) Contractor will provide documentation to indicate delivery and the items listed. d) Contractor will ensure Warranty information is provided at point of delivery for all applicable items. e) Delivery Address for KSC shall be at National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Kennedy Space Center. The address is: Kennedy Space Center, RPSF KSC Surge 1 facility, 32899. Hours of service for delivery: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM s Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. Delivery driver shall be certified to perform deliveries into a Federal Installation. f) Inspection and Acceptance will be performed at the location of delivery. | ||
