Description

The purpose of this report is to provide the necessary data required for the extension of a County sewer district (the District) in Chautauqua County, New York pursuant to Article 5A of the New York County Law. This District is being extended to facilitate the design and construction of wastewater collection and conveyance facilities in response to a Total Maximum Daily Loading (TMDL) for phosphorus issued for Chautauqua Lake in 2012. This extended District will continue to be known as the South Chautauqua Lake Sewer District. The extended District is consistent with the main recommendation of the Integrated Sewage Management Plan for Chautauqua Lake, completed in October 2014.
