Description | ** As of July 20, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. ** The Project includes the following Work: The primary scope of work consists of a new 100,000 gallon welded steel storage tank and approximately 2,100 LF of new 12-inch C900 PVC water main in Hungry Valley, Nevada. Work also includes grading of a tank site and access road, coating of the new tank, recoating of the existing tank interior (270,000 gallon), instrumentation and controls improvements, and other miscellaneous piping and site work. Bids are requested for the following single prime Contract: Hungry Valley Tank & Waterline Improvement Project. Bids shall be per unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,300,000. The Project has an expected duration 126 calendar days. Wage Rates Prevailing wage rates as established by the State Labor Commissioner must be paid for this Project. Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. |
