Description

**As of February 19, 2019, the project has been awarded for the amount of about 1.1 million. Started last December and Completion is on June 2019. ** The proposed work consists of constructing approximately 725 linear feet of bituminous trail, rehabilitation of an abandoned railroad bridge, precast concrete deck and pedestrian hand rail, driveway construction, trail head kiosk and associated appurtenances. The project bridge is an abandoned railroad bridge located about 400 feet north of Route 66, Windham, Connecticut. A site location map is presented as Figure 1 attached to the report. The existing railroad bridge comprises three separate simple spans totaling 206.5 feet in length (71'-H" west span, 71'-10" middle span, 62'-9" east span
