Description

The City of Guntersville (Owner) invites qualified bidders to submit proposals for furnishing and installing a new engineered metal building system at the Connor's Island Industrial Complex which the Owner shall use as a Recycling complex. Bidder(s) must be Alabama licensed general contractors per Alabama Licensing Law: Chapter 8 of title 34, Code of Alabama, and must hold a current license. Sub-contractor(s) must also comply with all requirements of Alabama Licensing Laws. A bid bond executed by a qualified surety company or a cashier's check, made payable to the City of Guntersville, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
