Restoration of the Jackson Street Bridge

The planned scope of construction work for the Jackson Street Bridge includes the following: * Clearing and removal of vegetation and debris from under bridge and stream bed. * Pouring new concrete to support end stringers. * Sealing deck underside with epoxy and patching spalls in concrete. * Resurfacing deck with bituminous concrete. * Removing northeast retaining wall and rebuilding in kind. * Repointing all masonry. * Restoring and/or rebuilding structural elements of metal bridge as needed. * Preparing and painting/recoating metal for entire steel surface.
