Description

Professional civil engineering services to be provided on an as-needed basis: Serves in the capacity as County Engineer and represents the Board of County Commissioners in all applicable engineering matters, as requested and on an as-needed basis. Works closely with County Manager and Road & Bridge Department, as needed, on traffic analysis, road projects, engineering plans and projects, drainage plans and projects, Road & Bridge Standards, long-term road maintenance planning and comprehensive cost analysis, dewatering, landfill / solid waste, dewatering projects, airports, fairgrounds, etc. Works closely with Community Development, as needed, and provides review of subdivision related engineering and drainage plans in compliance with County Regulations and Engineering Standards; reviews and provides acceptance of completed subdivision improvements.
