Description

As of December 21, 2023, construction is underway and expected to take around 6 months to complete. The Project includes the following Work: Furnish and install approximately one (1) stormwater pump station with two (2) submersible pumps, 900 LF of 8" PVC force main, two (2) Type 'E' inlets, two (2) 48" diameter manholes, three (3) yard drains, 207 LF of 12" HDPP, 24 LF of 18" HDPP, two (2) precast wingwalls, 425 LF of 24" RCP, one (1) portable generator, and all associated restoration, including paving and grassing. Bids are requested for the following Contract: CDBG 20 DR Lake Johnson Drainage Improvements, DEO Agreement No. IR005 Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-bid conference for this Project will not be held. To be considered qualified, Bidder must be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board. The City of Hawthorne, Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes bids from MBE/WBE and Section 3 Contractors.
