Description

The purpose of this document is to detail the technical specifications and requirements for a 1,500 kW peak shaving generation system. The 1,500 kW peak shaving generation system will be a complete turnkey design-build project. The generator engines will be fired by 100% natural gas. The work shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment. The system shall consist of one or multiple generators. The project design shall incorporate means for potential future expansion of additional peak shaving generation. This project requires the new system to be installed in the existing footprint of a system that is in operation (Appendix F). Removal of existing fuel tank, generator, day tank, fuel lines will be necessary.
