Guerrero Concrete Slab

Scope of Work: 1. New concrete slab shall be 3,500 psi @ 28 days strength, reinforced with No. 4 bars, spaced 20-inches on center, each way (OCEW) and installed flat (no slope}. 2. New concrete slab to be scored ¼” depth at 7’ centerline and abut to existing concrete with continuous ½” expansion slab-to-slab joint with continuous sealant on all sides. Smooth concrete finish to match existing sidewalk finish. 3. New concrete slab shall be installed on top of existing HMAC pavement and shall have a 27' x 8.5' x 5" turndown footing to prevent slippage. New footing shall have No. 4 verticals, 20-inches on center with standard ACI 90 degree hooks at bottom and 3-inches minimum concrete from bottom of footing. Footing shall have No. 4 continuous horizontal bars at top and bottom. 4. Contractor to provide all labor and materials to install a total of seven (7) 4-inch diameter, schedule 40 galvanized, cement filled, metal guard posts as per Guard Post Detail, Exhibit A. 5. Contractor to submit cut sheets for concrete, posts, traffic paint, expansion joint and sealant material three (3) days prior to bidding.
