| Description | Term contract for on-call fencing services for Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) to use on an as needed basis. 1. All posts and rails shall be galvanized ASTM A120, Schedule 40 pipe or Allied SS-40. 2. Fabric: a. Fabric shall be twisted aluminized steel with an aluminum coating of .4 ounces per square foot of actual wire surface. b. All 36”, 42”, 48”, 72”, and 96” high fabric shall be one piece of 9-gauge wire woven in a 2” chain link diamond mesh pattern. Top and bottom selvage shall have a knuckle finish. c. All 120” and 144” high fabric shall be one piece of 11-gauge wire woven in a 1 3/4” or 2” chain link diamond mesh pattern. Top and bottom selvage shall have a knuckled finished. d. Some projects will require a thermally fused vinyl coated fabric of 9-gauge finish with a 10-gauge steel core e. Fabric shall be securely fastened to all terminal, corner, and gate posts by 1/4” x 3/4” tension bars with 11-gauge pressed steel bands spaced approximately fourteen (14) inches apart. f. Fabric shall be securely fastened to top rail with .062 x .375 self-locking line post fabric hand spaced fourteen (14) inches apart. |
