Description

The Work comprises furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and services for the Aultshire Drainage Improvements. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 7,600 SY of milling and resurfacing along Cromer Avenue, Waid Avenue and Manring Avenue; 1,900 LF of 8-inch storm sewer; 250 LF of 10-inch storm sewer; 100 LF of 12- inch storm sewer; 380 LF of 15-inch storm sewer; 400 LF of 18-inch storm sewer; 5,200 LF of swale, and all associated Work complete in place as shown and specified. E. Cromer Ave and E. Waid Avenue, North of E. Centennial Avenue, East of N. Shirrey Road, South of E. McGalliard Road, located in the City of Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to OWNER in writing, emailed to email aleach@muncie.in.gov. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda which, if issued, will be mailed or faxed to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents, not later than 5 days prior to the date fixed for the Bid opening. If the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation "BID for Alutshire Drainage Improvements Project." A mailed bid shall be addressed to Board of Public Works and Safety, Office of City Clerk, 300 N High Street, Muncie, IN 47305 and sent by Certified Mail. Mailed Bids must be received no later than the time fixed for opening Bids.
