Description | Reference Number 0000312735 Construct 5800 feet of trail from Leach Creek south of Junior Service League Park westerly to the Redlands Parkway Bridge utilizing the following scope/specifications:The existing 8 foot asphalt trail shall be replaced with 6 inch thick, 10 foot wide concrete trail on 4 inches of CDOT Class 6 Two foot wide, 10 inch thick CDOT Class 6 shoulders at no more than 2% cross fall. Sawcuts shall be no less than 5 feet and not greater than 8 feet. Center saw cut required. All side slopes beyond the shoulders shall be no greater than 2:1 to catch points. All clearing and grubbing. All traffic control associated with the closure. Easement modification may be necessary from 2399 Riverside Parkway. Contractor responsible to obtain any easements and/or temporary construction easements necessary. 40 calendar days to complete the project (based on 200 feet per day average) Contractor responsible for all engineering, construction, and testing associated with the project. Pricing will be lump sum amount. The purpose of this IFB is to obtain competitive bids from qualified and interested companies for all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies required for the concrete trail construction along areas of Leach Creek and Redlands Parkway. All dimensions and Scope of Work should be verified by Contractors prior to submission of bids. Bid Guaranty consisting of a certified or cashier's check drawn on an approved national bank or trust company in the state of Colorado and made payable without condition to the City; or a Bid Bond written by an approved corporate surety in favor of the City.
