Description

The project will mill and resurface NY Route 78 (Transit Road), from French Road to Wehrle Drive, in the Towns of Amherst, Cheektowaga and Lancaster and Village of Depew, Erie County. Work will include the construction of a new travel lane from the I-90 interchange @ Rt 78 to Rt 33 (Genesee Street). Non-compliant ADA curb ramps and crosswalks will be replaced as needed. Drainage structure maintenance, corridor sign replacement, traffic signal repairs, and pedestrian signal upgrades will also be completed as necessary.
