| Description | All water main pipe and fittings shall be cement mortar lined double thickness ( 1/8 ") and shall have bituminous seal coat. Water main pipe shall be push on or mechanical joint ductile iron pipe conforming to ANSI/AWWA C151/A21.51, ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11, and ANSI/AWWA C104/A21.4. Pipe class shall be Class 52. Water main fittings shall be mechanical joint compact fittings ductile iron Class 350 conforming to ANSI/AWWA C153/A21.53, ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11, and ANSI/AWWA C104/A21.4. Fittings shall have fully restrained joints. All sanitary sewer pipe and fittings shall be polyvinyl chloride conforming to ASTM standard specification for PVC Sewer Pipe and Fittings, Designation D 3034 (SDR 35) (4" to 15"), F679 (18" to 27"). In addition, piping and fittings shall be smooth, showing no apparent defects. All pipe and fittings shall come with a 1 year warranty. |
