Description

The City of Bellingham (“City”) is issuing this request for qualifications (RFQ) (Invitation No. 45B-2021) from consulting firms interested in providing professional design services for the Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan Updates project (ES-0557). The Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan Update project consists of public engagement, planning, network analysis, and project prioritization for comprehensive updates and enhancements to the 2012 Bellingham Pedestrian Plan and the 2014 Bellingham Bicycle Master Plan. Incorporation of Bellingham’s 2021 Mobility for All ADA Transition Plan and Whatcom Transportation Authority’s 2021 WTA2040 long-range transit plan will be a key ingredients. Services, including professional engineering services, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. This project is funded through the City of Bellingham Transportation Fund.
