School Street Pump Station Improvements

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of obsolete HVAC equipment, relocation of select electrical panels, removal and replacement of existing drain, pump suction, and pump air relief piping including associated fittings and appurtenances, removal of obsolete and abandoned pump station equipment, removal and replacement of station lighting, grating, wet well access hatch, flood alarm fl oats, and supplying a gantry crane. Work also includes building modifications to provide gas-tight separation between the unclassified Pump Room and the classified Head works including, but not limited to, new wall pipe penetrations, repair of former wall and floor penetrations, filling in of existing Pump Room pit, and new sump and sump pump. Project also includes replacement of a single manhole on Quaker Hill Road. Alternate bids include a new water supply well, pump, bladder tank, and appurtenances required for complete system (Alternate Bid No. 1); installation of Owner provided steel doors and frames (Alternate Bid No. 2); and preparing and painting existing pump station process piping, interior walls, and ceiling (Alternate Bid No. 3). The project must be substantially completed within 120 consecutive calendar days and complete within 150 calendar days after the execution of Notice to Proceed.
