Description | **REVISED** The Contractor is responsible for developing a plan to access the spillway. All material used to provide access will be removed from the site after construction. Hills Creek Dam Spillway Rockfall and Reinforcement Project Scope: The project is located at the Hills Creek Dam in Lane County, Oregon. The objectives of the project are to remove the rock and vegetative debris from the spillway, install rock anchors and rockfall mesh on the slope above the spillway and repair damage to the concrete in the spillway as necessary. The slope above the spillway is steep and varies from approximately 60 to 140 feet in height. Access to the spillway chute will require construction of an access road and culvert crossing consisting of compacted fill on bedrock and a culvert crossing. The road and culvert crossing will be removed after construction and all fill and rock debris will be hauled offsite. Contract Period of Performance: The estimated Period of Performance for this contract is Oct 2023 to March 2025. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated cost of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Socioeconomic Set-Aside: Other Than Full and Open Competition, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45M. Acquisition Strategy: The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). Best Value/Trade Off source selection process will be used in the evaluation of proposals. Evaluation criteria will be stated in the RFP. This acquisition will result in a single fixed-price contract.
