New Central Middle School - Greenwich Public Schools

As of February 2024, construction has been delayed while cost estimates and plans are revised. Site plans are currently under review at the City. An architect and construction manager have been selected. A subcontractor bidding timeline has not been set but it is anticipated to take place Summer 2024. Construction is expected to begin in October 2024 and be completed in November 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Project consists of new construction near the existing Central Middle School, to comply with the standards of Connecticut Department of Education, the Connecticut Codes Governing School Construction, the specifications, and requirements of the Board of Education of the Town of Greenwich and of the CMS BC, all requirements for accessibility to the handicapped, and any other applicable laws and regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Project).
