Description | As per the Owner all bids have been rejected. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information WYDOT - Concrete and Handrail Replacement at the Kemmerer Port of Entry In the event that all work is not completed in 60 days, the Wyoming Transportation Commission will assess $250.00 per calendar day, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages to the State The work consists of the furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment and services required for furnishing CONCRETE AND HANDRAIL REPLACEMENT AT THE KEMMERER PORT OF ENTRY, WYOMING, in accordance with the following specifications and attached drawings: 1. Replace Concrete on South and West side of Kemmerer POE 2. Demo and Remove old Concrete 3. Remove soil to obtain 18" of backfill 4. Lay in 12" of stabilizing soil and compact to DOT Specs 5. Lay in 6" of road base and compact to 90% 6. Form area of pour and prepare new handrail 7. Pour concrete, finish, and set handrails 8. Form and pour steps 9. Remove forms and debris 10. Perform QC walk with WYDOT Project Representative 11. Repair comer bricks on building Each proposal MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PROPOSAL GUARANTY IN THE AMOUNT OF 10% OF THE TOTAL BID. The guaranty may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, certified check or bank money order, drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the Wyoming Department of Transportation. The successful bidder must within 20 calendar days after notification of the award, deliver to the Department a Contractor's Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid, as security for the faithful performance of the contract. The bond must be submitted on the Department's form and shall meet all statutory requirements as to form and execution. |
