RFP - Central Peninsula Landfill Master Plan

The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide professional services for the Solid Waste Facilities Water Monitoring Program. SCOPE OF WORK The Solid Waste Department needs a Master Plan to guide development, expansion and operations at Central Peninsula Landfill and its supporting facilities. Project shall be started with an onsite visit to review operations and conduct interviews with solid waste personnel, other borough employees, contractors or recycling/volunteer groups as needed. Consultant shall also include costs for two additional site visits to present draft report to the administration and the final report to Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly. No soil boring or excavation shall be required as part of this work. Other than the use of existing survey information, no additional surveying will be required as part of this work. The Selected Consultant may propose these services if needed and additional cost for these services will be negotiated if the Borough desires to have them completed.
