RFQ 127EAX22Q0028 ENG Lift Station Sewer Repair Fools Hollow NAICS: 237110 PSC: Z2ND 1. The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Show Low Arizona, has a requirement to remove, replace, the sewer lift station at the East side of Fools Hollow. Work of this project includes the price to remove the existing 8-foot-deep manhole and replace it with a 12-foot-deep circular manhole with a catch basket and rail system to allow for catching and removal of debris and trash that might clog the existing pump. A detachable davit crane and crane base capable of lifting the pump will be installed. Additionally, new plumbing and wiring for the electricity to reach the pump will be installed and a new lighter manhole cover attached with tamper proof bolts will be installed with two keys to open it provided. The goal of this project is to construct an operational lift station that can be easily monitored and cleaned so that the pump remains operational year-round. All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified. 2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using Simplified Acquisition with Request For Quote (RFQ) format. NAICS code 237110 - Water and Sewer Line Related Structures Construction is assigned to solicitation under Small Business Set-Aside ($39.5 million). PSC code Z2ND. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors, at time of award, need to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home. 3.
