Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and is being conducted according to FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Northeast Area (NEA) issues this Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2023-05. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and ; small business size standard is $30.0 Mill. Project Summary: Autoclave & Cage washer preventative , inspections and repair are required throughout the BARC campus to ensure adequate decontamination of glassware for various buildings on campus. BARC intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract. The contract will have a base year and four (4) consecutive option years.
