2021 Annual Power Division Substructure Projects

The City is seeking to prequalify contractors for one or both of the following: 1. Prequalify contractors to bid on an indefinite delivery contract (IDC) valued at $1,500,000 to provide an indefinite quantity of predefined substructure installation services for a period of one year. The City may request to renew this contract for up to four (4) additional one-year periods using the Denver consumer price index for possible adjustments each year. The City uses the IDC for substructure installation on projects that are generally smaller in scope. The IDC is not intended to cover large-scale and capital project work. The City intends to award this bid to the lowest responsible, prequalified contractor that, in the City’s judgment, will best serve the City’s interests. Payment and Performance bonds for 100% of the contract amount will be required for contract. 2. Prequalify contractors to bid on substructure installations for large projects. This will allow the City to quickly solicit competitive bids from among pre-qualified contractors for installation of substructure that are either unique or complicated due to their size, configuration, or location and fall outside of the IDC scope and requirements. The general conditions, scope of work (SOW) and technical specifications for each project will be detailed in the bid documents issued to the pre-qualified contractors. The City intends to award each project to the lowest responsible, responsive pre-qualified contractor that, in the City’s judgement, will best serve the City’s interests. City shall consider the contractors identified through Part 2 of this SOQ to be pre-qualified for a period of 5 years.

Division 06 -	Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry.
Division 07 -	Thermal and Moisture Protection, Dampproofing and Waterproofing, Thermal Protection.
Division 08 -	Openings, Doors and Frames, Windows.
Division 09 -	Finishes, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting and Coating.
Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
