Description

The following narrative describes the intent of the contractual scope of work: 1.Replace underground water mains. Upgrade and replacement of the existing underground mains and valves will require sawcut of exterior grade. 2.Excavation, trenching, and backfilling of existing areas must be properly staged to keep vehicular traffic properly routed and parking areas open with minimum impact. 3.Remove and replace old existing underground piping and valves. 4.Protect in place all existing underground utility electrical conduits, cable, oxygen piping, telephone conduit, fuel gas piping, pneumatic tube and all laterals. 5.Replace old existing underground valves. 6.All underground piping and valves shall be new. 7.Sequencing and phasing is required to be submitted by the contractor in written form for approval by the COR.
