Description

VCI is bidding the Duck Donuts Easton. The drawings and specifications are attached. Please pay attention to the specifications with the plans provided. Please email me at bportnoy.vci@gmail.com with any questions no later than August 10 2023 at 3 PM. All work to begin upon full permit receipt. The MEP contractors should pay special attention to Owner supplied work and the requirements of the MEPs for this work. Please review the McNeil drawings. Permit costs paid by Owner. The General Permit will be submitted by VCI. Please clearly indicate the trade being bid and the tasks for each trade. The project time frames for your work should be included with your bid. Please confirm if you will be bidding this project. Please do not reply to this email as it will not be seen. All return emails should be directed to Bportnoy.VCI@gmail.com. No required site meeting. Construction time is 70 calendar days to substantial completion, and based upon the following critical construction dates: Commencement Date: TBD - September 2023 Substantial Completion Date: 14 weeks. Final Completion Date (punch list 100%): One Week The successful Bidding Contractor hereby agrees to provide a 100% completion by the substantial completion date with Zero Tolerance for anything less than 100%. All work shall be completed with only minor punch list items remaining. For information only submittals, shop drawings, product data and samples will be required to be provided at the completion of the project and made part of the closeout manual No product substitutions are allowed. If a specified product has a extended lead time, add/alternates will be accepted and need to be submitted for approval. Pay Applications will be signed, notarized and submitted in duplicate form: AIA Document G702 AIA Document G703 Waiver of liens document. It is expressly agreed that no additions or changes to the Work shall be made except upon written order of Honeygrow, and Honeygrow shall not be liable to the successful Bidding Contractor for any extra labor, material or equipment furnished without such written order. No extras will be allowed for conditions overlooked or underestimated. The successful Bidding Contractor is responsible for taking a minimum of one 12 exposure roll of progress photos each week. Photos must be labeled, display picture direction, month, day, year and forward to the Owners with closeout manual. Workers Compensation, Employer's Liability, Comprehensive General Liability and Comprehensive Automobile Liability shall be provided by the successful Bidding Contractor. The dollar amounts and required coverage will be governed by Honeygrow and also by the lease deal and LL requirements. Honeygrow will separately employ low voltage and specialty companies such as; integrated security, data, and communication. The successful Bidding Contractor is obligated to the Owner for cooperation, coordination and scheduling of these companies in order to complete all work according to the Substantial Completion Date.
