RFP - Utility Plant Capacity Expansion Yarbrough Chiller Plant Equipment Commissioning Services

An equipment commissioning agent is needed for this phased project that will add a 2,000-ton electric chiller to the Yarbrough Chiller Plant, including all necessary pumps, piping, appurtenances, and controls integration. The project is located at 2411 Yarbrough Drive in NC State's North Campus Precinct. Project budget is presently funded at $1,470,939. Additional funding will be needed to complete design and construction. The University seeks the professional service of a Commissioning Agent (CxA) to join the team in the design development phase to provide services for the project through design, construction and post acceptance. Commissioning services shall be provided as defined by the latest State Construction Office manual, guidelines and checklists. A Pre-submittal Meeting will not be held for this submission.
