Description | The bond value requirements are as follows 1.Provide a 100 percent Performance Bond on AIA A312. 2 Provide a 100 percent Payment Bond on AIA A312. 3 Deliver bonds within 3 days after execution of the Contract. Liquidated Damages The Owner will suffer financial loss if the Project is not substantially complete on the date set forth in the Contract Documents. The Contractor and the Contractor's Surety, if any, shall be liable for and pay to the Owner the sums hereinafter stipulated as liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay until the Work is Substantially Complete Unit-Price Adjustment: See Division 01 Section Unit Prices for administrative procedures for preparation of Change Order Proposal for adjusting the Contract Sum to reflect measured scope of unit-price work. Scope Removing select portions of the existing roof system, metal copings, flashing, roof hatch, and ladder and replacing with new tapered insulation, roof membrane, new safety roof hatch, safety ladders, roof access ladders, wood blocking, new roof edge metal. The project also consists of the lifting of one roof top mechanical unit to allow a new roof curb, roof and roof flashing below the unit. Several other roof top units and equipment are identified to be re-flashed and sealed watertight. Description Procurement Substitution Requests: Requests for changes in products, materials, equipment, and methods of construction from those indicated in the Procurement and Contracting Documents, submitted prior to receipt of bids. Include sketches, descriptions, measurements, photos, Product Data, Shop Drawings, coordination drawings, and other information necessary to fully describe ite needing interpretation. Site Condition Reports: Immediately on discovery of a difference between site conditions and the Contract Documents, prepare and submit a detailed report. Submit with a Request for Information. Include a detailed description of the differing conditions, together with recommendations for changing the Contract Documents. Requests received after that time may be considered or rejected at discretion of Architect. The deadline for completion is 120 days after Notice to Proceed.
