Magnolia Street Roof Replacements

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a copy of certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. construction shall be substantially complete, in all respects, within 150 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, and Final Completion of construction will be within 30 calendar days of the date of Substantial Completion. The FKAA reserves the right to reject all Bids where the FKAA deems rejection to be in its best interest, or to reject any Bid not in compliance with the Contract Documents. The FKAA reserves the right to waive any informalities and irregularities in said Bids. The project consists of replacement of the existing roofs on three buildings at the FKAA Magnolia Street facility in Key Largo. Building 1 (Office) is approximately 1400 SF of aluminum hipped roof with 7 downspouts and 172 LF of gutter to be replaced. Building 2 (Warehouse/Shop) is approximately 450 SF of aluminum hipped roof, 2 downspouts, 60 LF of gutter, and 2000 SF of flat deck roof to be replaced. Building 3 (Welders Shop/Garage) is approximately 3760 SF of flat deck roof and kneewall, and 4 downspouts to be replaced, and addition of two overflow scuppers.
