East Well Improvements

The Project includes the following Work: The Town of Carrizozo East Well Improvements includes both a base bid and one bid alternate. The work included with the project's base bid includes the installation of a new 250-feet deep municipal well. This well will also be equipped with new drop piping, deep well submersible pump and motor, fittings, cable, pitless adapter unit, and more. The well will connect via new piping to a new wellhouse of metal building construction placed on a new 6-inch concrete foundation. The wellhouse will be equipped with interior piping elements, heater, disinfection pump, well panelboards, electrical components, and more. The Town of Carrizozo will supply a new flowmeter and disinfectant barrels to be installed by the contractor within the new wellhouse. The new wellhouse will then be connected to the existing water system via new piping. The base bid also includes site work such as site grading, chain-link security fencing, and more. The Town of Carrizozo will demolish the existing East Well, and will provide a connection point for the new utilities. Bid alternate 1's scope of work includes the plugging of the existing East Well. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Town of Carrizozo East Well Improvements/20220315 Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $330,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 300 days.
