Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT. The facilities will require a complete demolition and site restoration. Contractor shall submit required environmental permits. Contractor will test and abate all facilities as required to ensure the debris is disposed of properly. All facilities require a 10 day state notification to be completed by the Contractor to include the status of Asbestos or Lead Base Paint abatement if required. Coordination of testing and 10 day notice shall go through Base Environmental. DEMOLITION. The Contractor shall perform wet demolition in its entirety. This includes, but is not limited to, all walls, roof, slabs, sidewalks, footings, building contents, equipment pads and all shrubbery. Contractor shall also remove circle drive way as part of this project per drawings. Hazardous materials shall be disposed of IAW all federal, state and local laws and regulations. All demolished materials which are not hazardous materials, to include mechanical equipment, shall be segregated for recyclable materials prior to being disposed of at a licensed C & D landfill. Materials which are recycled, documentation of quantities shall be submitted to the Government as part of close out.
