Winter Sand Supply Contract for the 2023-2025 season

The Contractor will supply, deliver, mix with salt and pile in the Town's Sand and Salt Building, up to 3,000 cubic yards of screened sand (maximum size, 1/2 inch and not to exceed 0-5% 200 sleeve) annually during each year of this Contract. The initial quantities of sand to fill the Sand and Salt Building must be put up in the Sand and Salt Building no later than November 15 of 2023 and by September 15, 2024 for the following year. The balance of the 3,000 cubic yards per year will be delivered as directed by the Town. In addition to the 3,000 cubic yards of sand per year, the Contractor will supply additional quantities of sand consistent with the foregoing terms and specifications as requested by the Town. The Contractor will mix the sand with salt at a rate of 90 to 110 pounds of salt per cubic yard of sand. The Contractor will keep the yard clean and free from salt at the end of each day while filling the sand shed. The salt to be mixed with the sand will be provided by the Town.
