Taylortown Road Resurfacing Project Phases I and II

Project scope includes milling existing pavement 2-inch depth and resurfacing with Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 surface course, stormwater infrastructure repairs and associated hardware applications. Project limits are from Boonton Avenue to Quarry Mountain Lane and from #69 Taylortown Road to Old Taylortown Road, just south of the NJ Transit Train Trestle. The total distance of roadway is approximately 7,500 linear feet. This project is partially funded by two NJDOT Municipal Aid Grants, which have been formally merged by NJDOT into one bid package. Therefore, all work is subject to the requirements in the State Aid Handbook, including, but not limited to, inspections by State representatives. Upon completion of paving, the asphalt will be tested in accordance with the current "HMA Coring, Testing and Analysis" procedures, performed by a third party contracted with the Township.
