2022 Restoration of Various Streets

BASE BID: Restoration of portions of 6 streets listed above, at various locations. See location plan and bid drawings for specific locations. Scope of work and approximate quantities will include: 14,807 s.y. of full width Milling at 4.5" depth; 14,807 s.y. of 3" depth PG64-22 19mm Binder; 11,552 l.f. of replacement bituminous wedge curbs (12" x 6"); and approximately 14,807 s.y. of 1.5" PG64 22 9.5mm Fine Grade Wearing Course over street surfaces; also including Sedimentation Controls; Traffic Controls; and appurtenances associated with the paving project. Included is 420 tons of 1"-2" wearing course to be applied at locations directed by the Township Public Works Director. ALTERNATE BID: Consists of 3,710 s.y. of 4.5" deep milling over the surface of the road including the existing bituminous/concrete curbs; placement of 3,710 s.y. of 3" depth PG64-22 19mm binder; 2,753 l.f. of replacement bituminous wedge curbs (12" x 6"); and 3,710 s.y. of 1.5" depth PG64-22 9.5mm Wearing Course. Also included is approximately 366 s.y. of soft spot repair (see plan sheet for location) including, milling to 9" depth, ASHTO #3 Sub-base, and 6" underdrain. Manhole and inlet adjustment rings will be provided by the Township for installation by the contractor. Fill behind the bituminous wedge curbs, berm restoration and soft spot repairs will be performed by Township forces before and after the contract work as appropriate.
