Description

The portion of East Idaho Avenue at the underpass connects the east and west sides of the city. Pavement improvements would be made under the underpass. Additionally, the intersection of Idaho Avenue and South Oregon Street would undergo improvements for traffic signal operation and ADA ramps. Project is included City of Ontario FY 2021 - 2026 CIP. As of June 29, 2023, the project is in planning and has not started yet. Construction expected to start and be completed in FY2024-2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
