Slater Mill Phase II - Project

This project shall consist of various site improvements to the following areas: Widening of the sidewalk and improvements along the easterly side of Roosevelt Avenue from Leather Avenue to just south of Wilkinson Mill, the south side of Leather Avenue from Roosevelt Avenue easterly to the Blackstone River, and the Slater Mill parking lot in its entirety as well as the area that was formerly Slater Avenue. The work on this project will include, but not be limited to the following improvements: site preparation, removing and disposing existing sidewalks, pavements, landscaping, walls, lighting, etc.., provide new concrete sidewalks, removing and resetting existing granite curb, new or reconstructed wheelchair-ramps (ADA compliant), new curbing, bituminous pavement parking lot, placing of loam borrow and seeding, landscaping, lighting and electrical, signage, maintenance of traffic control, construction of an environmental cap per RIDEM requirements.
