Description

Florida State University (FSU) is seeking contracted services from one or more qualified Respondents to establish contracts for disaster debris removal, reduction, disposal, and other emergency cleanup services following a debrisgenerating event, such as a tropical system or other natural and man-made disasters on the FSU Panama City campus, located at 4750 Collegiate Dr., Panama City, FL 32405. The University is seeking to secure the services of an experienced respondent (s) who is capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster-generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost-effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations. The successful respondent(s) must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. It is the expectation that the awarded Respondent(s) representative(s) must be physically present at the designated FSU Panama City Campus Emergency Operations Center within eight (8) hours after notification of need. Start of services will be within twenty-four (24) hours of issuance of Purchase Order. Selected respondents will be expected to complete services in less than 120 days when possible. FSU will give preference to companies who can meet the accelerated debris removal timeframes outlined by FEMA in the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act located online. The awarded Respondent(s) shall be required to attend an annual pre-hurricane season kickoff meeting with the University. Question Submission Close Date 12/22/2022 5:00 PM EST
