Description | This specification covers the requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for repairing a 705 foot portion of the existing access road for the BSV VORTAC facility located in Navarre, Ohio. The work includes the following items: 1) Cut, clear, and remove, all: brush, weeds, and tree limbs along 705 feet of the existing facility access roadway, beginning at the security gate located near the facility building, and, proceeding 705 feet northeast to the "Y" in the access road. The cleared area shall be 12 feet wide, centered about the roadway, and 12 feet high, up from the road surface. All debris resulting from the work shall be disposed of offsite. 2) Install a new, compacted crushed stone road surface for 705 feet of the existing facility access road, beginning at the security gate located near the facility building, and, proceeding 705 feet northeast to the "Y" in the access road. The new compacted crushed stone road surface shall be 10 feet in width and a minimum of 3 inches in thickness. | ||||||
