Airport Runway 10-28 Rehabilitation

The project is generally described as the rehabilitation of Runway 10-28 by means of pavement milling and asphalt overlay, generally 2-inches in depth. The runway is currently 5,509 feet in length and approximately 100 feet wide. The project will also involve relocation of the Runway-28 threshold by a distance of 85 feet. This relocation will also necessitate the relocation of the runway threshold lights, re-spacing of the runway edge lighting, and the Runway 28 PAPI system. The final element contained in this project is the replacement of approximately 180 linear feet of fencing on the east end of the airfield that was recently modified to comply with the height requirements in the Modification of Standards (MOS).
