Fort Wilkins Historic State Water System Upgrades

Remove and replace the water distribution piping that serves the East Campground toilet/shower buildings and exterior fountains, check-in/contact station, day use area toilets and exterior fountains, concessions building, the Park Headquarters, Shop, Manager’s Residence, Assistant Manager’s Residence, and Crew Quarters. Salvage/reinstall or replace exterior water jug fillers, drinking fountains, and combination fixtures. Remove and replace the service laterals that serve all of the buildings and fixtures in the distribution piping replacement areas. Replacement of the distribution system will include necessary valves, vaults, air injection ports, shutoffs, backflow preventors connections to existing piping, and rigid board insulation of the piping in the trench.
