PPWMD Channel 1A2 Channel Improvements 49th Street North to 52nd Street North

Mobilization/Demobilization; MOT; installation of soil erosion, sedimentation, and dust control measures; installation of construction access entrance; site clearing and grubbing to include tree removal and tree trimming within the project area; remove of existing stormwater drainage pipes, mitered end sections, inlets, curb, sidewalk, endwalls, spillway, riprap, and asphalt pavement as indicated on the drawings; removal and replacement of 6 ft high chain link fence and gates; construction of vertical sheet pile walls with concrete cap at the western end of the project at 52nd Street North; construction of a concrete retaining wall along the northern side of the channel at the western end of the project; construction of concrete channel panels and channel bottom between Sta 10+55 to Sta 20+20; installation of underdrain weep hole system as indicated on drawings; installation of (12 ft x 4 ft) precast concrete box culvert between Sta 20+20 to Sta 22+32; construction of concrete box culvert headwall at Sta 20+20; grading and sodding of the treatment area between Sta 20+20 to Sta 22+70; installation of a concrete baffle box at the eastern end of the project per Oldcastle Infrastructure (Suntree Technologies, Inc.) plans; construction of (8 ft x 4 ft) concrete box culvert extension from eastern end of the concrete baffle box to western end of the existing (8 ft x 4 ft) concrete box culvert at 49th Street North; installation of concrete inlets, manholes, pipes, curb, flume, and sidewalk; temporary and permanent curb cut; removal and replacement of existing wood fence at the eastern end of the project for site access; relocation of existing fence column at eastern of the project; excavation, removal, and offsite hauling of on-site soil; re-grade and sodding of the northern and southern sides of channel top of bank area from the western to the eastern project extents; dewatering and bypass pumping; continuous noise and vibration monitoring during construction operations; protection of existing watermain during all construction operations; perform general site work associated with the improvements listed above; and all related work for a complete and operable drainage system.
