Emergency Generator for Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System at the Wastewater Treatment Plant

Valley Forge Sewer Authority - Emergency Generator for Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 333 Pawling Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460 The Work includes the installation of a 150 kw, 185 kVA emergency generator, electrical panel, transformer, manual and automatic transfer switch, and associated duct bank, conduits and wiring and surface restoration. All contractors desiring to bid shall have the experience of successfully completing at least five (5) similar size projects in the last five (5) years. Each bidder will be required to submit with their bid, the completed Qualification Form contained in the contract documents. After the pre-bid meeting, the Engineer and Owner will escort the potential bidder(s) to the location of the proposed project. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or a Surety's Consent and a Bid Bond payable to Valley Forge Sewer Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The said Surety Consent shall be bound to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, thereafter, required on the specified Bond and Consent of Surety Forms. Valley Forge Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals, to waive any informality, and/or to accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the Authority.
