Asbestos Abatement Eastover

All Bidders must provide a Familial Disclosure Form, Iran Sanctions Form and also a Bid Bond. The District will not accept a bid proposal that does not include this information. Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Proposal (low proposer), in its sole and absolute discretion. Project Sequencing: There will be one (1) project group forthe asbestos abatement activities at Eastover Elementary School. Project Group EES1 - "Classrooms and Hallways" The first and only project for abatement at Eastover Elementary School includesthe removal and disposal of asbestos thermal system insulation materials, including asbestos straight pipe insulation with associated pipe fittings, asbestos pipe fitting insulation on fiberglass lines, asbestos flooring materials, including asbestos floor tile, nonasbestos carpet, interior window frames with asbestos glazing, door frames with asbestos caulk, tagged fire doors, and tagged fire door frames. The project will include, but is not limited to, classrooms, media center, main office, and hallways. These projects at Eastover Elementary School will involve multiple negative pressure enclosures and regulated areasto remove the asbestos materials using ClassI and ClassIIremoval procedures. The project will begin on Monday, August 28, 2023, and will be complete with all abatement activities, including tear down activities, by the end of the workday on Friday, September 8, 2023. The project schedule allows for a total of ten (10) workdays (Monday-Saturday, Tuesday-Friday) to complete the project.
