Description

For the purpose of chip & sealing the township roads by evenly applying road oil and limestone the entire width with one pass 20 foot width, or as directed by the Twp. Trustees. To apply approximately 35,000 gallons (more or less) of MC-3000 Road Oil to be applied to approximately 13 miles of road. The township will provide stone and traffic control as needed. The bidder will supply the road oil and applicator, stone spreader, loading & trucking of stone and a multi wheeled roller. The bid notice shall be marked "Chip & Seal" on the envelope. The successful bidder shall also provide a Certificate of Insurance to the township. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bid in the best interest of Mifflin Township.
