Description

The Libraries and Archives building is a 150,000 square foot facility that stores and archives historically and culturally critical documents for the Common wealth of Kentucky. Due to the critical nature of the documents stored, temperature and humidity control is critical. Originally built in the late 1970s, the scope of the HVAC replacement is to upgrade, modify and otherwise modernize the current HVAC system and temperature controls. The building will remain in operation for the duration of the construction contract where the contractor is expected to phase construction activities and closely coordinate with the facility owners and operations staff.
