Description

The Work under this contract consist of the hydraulic dredging of S.Jinks creek with nearshore Placement of beach quality Sediment. Approximately 49,300 CY (Including Overdredge) will be hydraullically dredged from S.jinks creek and and placed in a 2,000-ft long by 200-ft wide nearshore placement site in approximately-9-ft to -13-ft (MLW) of water. the final grade for the placed material shall not exceed -6-ft MLW. the material will be dredged from an approximate 1,750-ft long channel approximately 100-ft wide, with 5:1 side slopes. the design depth is -5-ft MLW with a 1-ft overdredge tolerance. (Sunset Beach experiences an appoximate 4.7-ft tidal variation.
