Description

This scope of work includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to install approximately 9,200 linear feet of continuous sewer lining at various locations in the City of Union, MO. Project items include pipe lining, service reinstatement, traffic control and other minor activities related to the proper installation of the liner. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Any questions or clarifications concerning this Advertisement for Bid must be submitted via email to: J.D. Kelley, City Engineer, engineer@unionmissouri.gov The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with all applicable State Regulations including Equal Employment Opportunities, Non-segregated Facilities, Prevailing Wage Rates and Affirmative Action Requirements, and all other work incidental thereto as described in the Contract Documents. Any person signing a contract to work on the construction of public works for any public body shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the department which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees are required to complete the program within sixty days of beginning work on such construction project. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
