Sewer Extension Project - Phase II

Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the Bid is not accepted, the bid bond will be returned to the Bidder, but if the Bid is accepted and the Bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Owner within fifteen (15) days after the time s/he has been notified of the acceptance of its Bid, the said bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. The Owner reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any or all bids, to reject bids that do not meet the qualifications outlined in the Bidding Documents and/or to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding process or bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner as determined by it in its sole discretion
