Description

Intersection of East Bailie Street and South 250 West The new one-story building will be composed of two parts: pre-engineered metal building and wood framed contruction. The apparatus bay portion of the building shall be a pre-engineered metal building construction, 74' x 104' x 20' high with approximately 7,860 total SF and include five pull-thru apparatus bays and one drive-in bay, PPE gear racks, and equipment storage. The apparatus bays shall have a minimum of 8" sealed concrete floors with floor trench drains centered on each apparatus bay with rebar reinforcing, have insulated walls and roof, include gutters and downspouts, have ten 14 x 14 and one 10 x 14 overhead insulated doors with openers, 36" insulated service doors, and low-E glazing. The exterior of the building is anticipated to be constructed of a pre-engineered metal building construction with metal siding. The office portion of the building shall be wood-framed construction, 44' x 51' x 13'-4 1/2" high with approximately 2,215 SF and house two offices, a training room, kitchen, restrooms, shower rooms, and mechanical room. There shall be a minimum of 4" concrete floor with rebar and insulated walls and roof, include gutters, 36" insulated main entry, service doors, and low-e glazing. All exits shall have a minimum 5' approach in front of all doors. An entry porch area of 10' x 28' is also anticipated. The exterior of the office is anticipated to be constructed of a brick wainscot construction with metal siding and engineered wood soffits.
