Sidewalk and Drainage Improvements - Washburn - Region 5 Description: Maine Federal-Aid Project #: 2202200; WINs: 022022.00 & 025167.00 Location: In Aroostook County, project is located on Main Street (Route 164), Hines Street (Route 228), and School Street in the town of Washburn. Outline of Work: Sidewalk construction on Main Street from Woodman Street to School Street, and on Hines Street and School Street from Victoria Street to the elementary school, with drainage improvements and other incidental work. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by MaineDOT and be accompanied by a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or U.S. postal money order for 5% of the bid amount, payable to 'Treasurer, State of Maine" as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100% of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder.
